Krabi’s hot springs are renowned for their therapeutic properties, as well as being incredibly beautiful. Watch as the hot and cool waters mix together while running down the sloped rocks, before relaxing in the 40-50 degree Celsius waters of its hollowed-out baths. You’ll also have the opportunity to swim in the magnificent Emerald Pool before hiking to the “footprint of the Buddha” at Tiger Temple.

Led by an experienced guide and including a delicious lunch, this day tour from Krabi will expose you to some of the region’s most fascinating natural and cultural sights. Itinerary

After being picked up from your Krabi hotel by minivan between 07:50 and 08:30, you’ll be transported to a private pier. It’s here that you’ll meet your guide and be given an introductory briefing about the day’s itinerary before making the one-hour journey to Amphoe Khlong Thom.

Around 10:00, we’ll arrive at the Hot Spring Waterfall where you’ll discover several hollowed-out “bathtubs” created by the cascading waters of the thermal springs. The hot spring waters converge with cool streams in this picturesque area where you can enjoy a soak in a natural hot-tub jacuzzi.

It’s then time for a picnic lunch before immersing yourself in the lush rainforest of Kao Noi Juji. We’ll visit the aptly-named Emerald Pool for a swim in its natural bath, then continue to the Tiger Cave Temple (also known as Wat Tham Sua), which is surrounded by centuries-old trees in the Khiriwong Valley. Aside from being the site of a meditation centre, this mountainous landscape is also of significant archaeological interest, with stone tools, pottery fragments and a mould for making Buddha footprints uncovered during excavations. A highlight of your visit will be climbing the 1,272 steps that lead up the temple’s limestone tower to see the “footprint of the Buddha”.

Around 16:00, we’ll arrive back at the private pier, marking the end of your Krabi day tour. From here, you’ll be transferred back to your Krabi hotel.

Please Note: The itinerary above is approximate only and may be modified without notice due to local weather and tide conditions.
