Tour Cancellation Refund Policy

When we go on holidays to other countries and book travel or tours, we like to know what the refund policy is. I mean it is important to know if and how you can get your money back if something goes wrong or if you cancel your trip, OR if the tour you have booked and paid for gets cancelled on the day.

This particular page is only talking about our Tour Bookings, we have a separate Policy for our Custom holiday packages and group bookings.

If you want to cancel

If for some reason your circumstances have changed, you may no longer be coming to Thailand or you no longer want to do the Tour that you have already Paid for on our website. If you have PAID and Booked with us in ADVANCE,

  • If you have already booked in advance with us – You Must cancel a least 2 to 3 days before or more, cancellation charge will be 5%
  • If you have already booked in advance with us- If you need to cancel 1 day before, you must cancel BEFORE 12:00 pm, (Thai time). Cancellation fee will be 50% *This is also dependent on which boat/tour you have booked, as every boat company have their own cancellation Policies: We will discuss with you.
  • If you have already booked in advance with us- If you need to cancel 1 day before, and if you cancel AFTER 12:00 pm, (Thai time). Cancellation fee will be 100% *This is also dependent on which boat/tour you have booked, as every boat company have their own cancellation Policies: We will discuss with you.
  • If you Book and Pay with us, and you decide to cancel with in the same 24 hours that you made payment, NO Cancellation Fee will be incurred, as long as the cancellation is made BEFORE 17:00 pm PHUKET time, on that same day that you paid (Thai time).
  • If you Book and Pay with us, and you decide to cancel with in the same 24 hours that you made payment, if the cancellation is made AFTER 17:00 pm PHUKET time, on that same day that you paid (Thai time), the cancellation fee could either be 5% to 100%, it all depends on the trip and the particular boat company that your tour is with at the time.

Assuming you tell us in time we will happily cancel your tour and give you a full refund (Less the transaction fee’s incurred by money transfers if there were any or card transaction fees, 5%).

Generally if you have paid and IF we have already transferred the money to our Company Bank account and paid for your tour, we will have paid some small transaction fees.

If the Tour itself gets cancelled

Sometimes the tour itself gets cancelled, this could be for reasons like in Low season if certain tours may not have reached their minimum booking number requirements, if this is the case yes you get a Full Refund of course, or you will be given the option to move your tour to another date if you are still here then.

If the weather is not suitable or safe, it will be 100% up to the Captain of the Boat or Main Tour Operator to make the decision whether or not the tour will be operating that day/night. If the Captain or Operator decides they will not be operating the tour that day we will notify you, you will be given the option to get a Full Refund or to choose another date to book your desired tour.

PLEASE NOTE: If on the morning of the tour you decide you do not want to go because of the weather and if the tour is still operating you will not be offered any refunds at all.

No Show

  • Should the customer not be present for pick-up at the place and time specified on the tour voucher, or does not go on the tour for other reasons, no refund is applicable no matter the reason (including medical reasons) and any claims need to be submitted by the customer to the customer’s travel insurance company.
  • Should the customer choose to provide own transportation to the tour, a map will be attached to the tour voucher and a latest arrival time will be specified. In the case of failure to arrive at the specified location at the latest arrival time and the tour cannot be provided, no refund is applicable.

Additional Tour Fees where required

  • Any refusal to pay transfer fee and national park fee (For any tours that this is relevant for) claiming that such information was not specified on the website or that a tour voucher with such payment information has not been received will result in refusal to participate in the tour and transportation back to the customer’s hotel will be born entirely by the customer and no refund of the tour payment will be granted.
  • The above is also applicable for cancellation and changes to a tour requested by the customer as an updated tour voucher will be sent to the customer.

Pregnant Women

Pregnant women are not allowed on any speedboat tour, longtail boat tour, ATV tour, elephant tour, white water rafting tour or Hanuman World. Should the tour operator refuse access to the tour due to pregnancy, no refund is applicable.

Children and elderly

Children under 1 years old and persons over 70 years old are not allowed on any speedboat tour. Should the tour operator refuse access to the tour due to the age limits, no refund is applicable.

Tour Operator’s Disclaimer

The tour program is subject to change dependent on weather and sea conditions. In such a case no compensation is applicable.

Payment Terms and Conditions – Phuket Dream Company

Thank you for choosing Phuket Dream Company for your tour, trip, and event needs. In order to secure your bookings and ensure a seamless experience, we require full payment prior to any scheduled events. This policy applies to all our offerings, including tours, trips, and the rental of vessels such as big boats and catamarans for private, group, and company events.

To confirm your reservation, a deposit must be paid by the specified due date outlined in the invoice provided. The remaining balance must be settled in full by the designated final payment date. Failure to adhere to these payment deadlines will result in the bookings being considered unconfirmed, and subsequently, they may be subject to cancellation.

It is important to note that Phuket Dream Company operates as a booking agent, facilitating reservations on behalf of our valued customers. We, in turn, make payments to the operators of the tours, trips, and events you choose. For your peace of mind, please be aware that bookings are not considered 100% confirmed until we have received the full payment.

Please be informed that as one of several agents booking these trips, tours, and events, confirmation is based on a first-come, first-served basis for groups and functions. The company or group that initiates the booking and completes the full payment first will secure the confirmation for their desired dates.

While we strive to guide and assist customers in achieving their preferences, it is crucial to emphasize that deposits and full payments must be met by the specified due dates. Failure to comply may lead to cancellations, as we are bound by the policies of the operators, boat companies, and hotels involved. These establishments require advance arrangements for staffing levels, stock ordering, beverage and menu design, as well as preparations for DJs and music.

To ensure a seamless booking experience, we request that all payments be made in full before the scheduled booking dates. This practice is essential to facilitate the necessary arrangements and preparations for your selected events. Your cooperation in meeting payment deadlines is greatly appreciated, as it not only secures your reservation but also contributes to the smooth execution of the entire experience.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in complying with our payment terms. These measures are in place to ensure a reliable and enjoyable experience for all our customers.

If the cancellation is due to a Force Majeure event,  like COVID 19, full refunds will be issued.
A “Force Majeure Event” includes but is not limited to, fire, earthquake, flood, windstorm or other extreme weather events, war, civil commotion, riot, blockade or embargo, breakdown, union dispute, epidemic, pandemic, lack or failure of courses of supply, passage of any law, order, regulation, ordinance, proclamation, demand, requisition or requirement or any other act of any government authority, outside of the reasonable control of either parties whether or not foreseeable, which renders performance impossible.

We will not be liable in any way for bodily injury, delay, illness, death, damage, or other loss or detriment to person or property, or financial costs both direct and indirect incurred, or for our failure to perform, commence,  or complete any duty owed to you if such death, illness, delay, bodily injury (including emotional distress or injury), damage or other loss or detriment to person or property is caused by a Force Majeure Event.

We will not be liable for other costs associated with travel to the designated meeting point, overnight accommodation, meals, etc will not be covered by us and therefore

we strongly recommend travel insurance be taken out prior to travel
