Recently, the Thai Cooking Academy’s Phuket location opened, allowing you to take one of our renowned cooking programs. Experienced chefs who will guide you through each recipe step-by-step will teach you how to prepare authentic Thai cuisine. Take a tour of the neighborhood market as we demonstrate the alternatives to popular Thai items. When you’re finished cooking, you may relax in our lovely dining area and take in the fruits of your labor.
Youngsters younger than 12 years old are welcome to enroll in the program, but for security concerns, an adult must also enroll in the class.
If the full day of cooking is a little too much for you, check out this other option, the half day morning cooking class. This is a really great cooking school, really friendly people and a lot of fun.
Basically you get to choose your 5 favourite Thai dishes and they teach you how to make them. You begin with a tour of the local market where you shop for your ingredients and then back to the cooking school to begin preparation and you learn how to make your 5 most tasty dishes.
These guys also offer a half day afternoon course, so if you prefer the afternoon that is a great option for you. Check out their menu below, your mouth will be watering before you even get there.
In a quiet residential neighborhood between Patong Beach and Phuket Town, this culinary lesson is located off the main road close to Kathu Waterfall. For students of various culinary skill levels, half-day morning and half-day afternoon sessions are offered in English, Thai, or Chinese. You will be taught the essential methods of preparing coconut milk and curry pastes in addition to how to prepare dishes like pad thai, som tam, or tom yum goong. In addition to free round-way transportation from Patong, Kathu, Kata, Kamala, and Phuket Town, classes include a tour to a nearby market. There are also classes for vegetarians.
