An hour’s drive north of Krabi is the archipelago of islands that includes Koh Hong. Pelay Beach feels secluded because of the limestone cliff formations that surround it. The beach has a small approach to the open sea and is shielded from three sides by granite cliffs. Because of this, it’s the ideal location for novice snorkelers. All you have to do is stand in the water and take in the hundreds of fish around you while wearing a mask and snorkel to get a view of the underwater world.
