Phi Phi Maya Pileh Lagoon
Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh are the two main islands in the six-island archipelago. These postcard-perfect Southeast Asian islands are a 45-minute speedboat or 90-minute ferryboat ride from Phuket or Krabi.
Phi Phi boasts beautiful beaches, limestone formations, and blue waters with colourful marine life. The smaller, deserted Phi Phi Leh boasts stunning coves and beaches, notably Maya Bay, while the larger, inhabited Phi Phi Don draws thousands of tourists.
One of Koh Phi Phi Leh’s most stunning locations is Pi Leh Bay. It is like a canyon and nearly divides Koh Phi Phi Leh in two. It is also known as Ao Pileh, Pileh Lagoon, Pileh Cove, or Pi Ley Cove. The major arrival/departure dock on Koh Phi Phi Don, Tonsai Bay, is about 30 minutes away from this location on the eastern side of the island, a few hundred metres south of Viking Cave.
