Known locally as Koh Hae, Coral Island makes the perfect day trip from Phuket as it’s only 20 minutes away by speedboat. It’s one of the only islands nearby where you can participate in a range of water sports, from snorkelling and glass-bottom kayaking to jet skiing, parasailing and banana boating.
On our Coral Island tour, you will spend most of your time at Banana Beach, which we think is the best corner of Coral Island. The day can be as leisurely or as active as you like, with great snorkelling just offshore and beach chairs provided if you just want to relax and do absolutely nothing. We will also provide you with snorkelling equipment and life jackets to ensure you are safe in the water.
In the middle of the day, you’ll be treated to a delicious lunch at the Hornbill Restaurant before an afternoon spent doing exactly as you please. If you do want to participate in optional water sports, we recommend that you book them with us in advance, as it will be cheaper than deciding on arrival. Your full-day Banana Beach Phuket trip includes the services of a certified guide and round-trip transfers from your Phuket hotel.
Itinerary
After being picked up from your hotel around 8:30 am, you’ll be transferred to the KanEang Pier at Chalong Bay where coffee and tea await. Around 10:00 am, we’ll depart by speedboat to our first snorkelling destination on the coast of Coral Island. Spend the morning discovering the island’s underwater marine life or simply swim and relax.
Our next stop is Banana Beach where you will have a couple of hours at your leisure to enjoy the white sands. Swim in the warm waters or embark on another snorkelling session.
Lunch will be served overlooking the water at the Hornbill Restaurant. Afterward, you’ll have plenty of time to take advantage of Banana Beach’s water activities. Clear-bottomed kayaks, snorkelling equipment and beach chairs will all be provided and you have the option to participate in a range of additional sports.
Around 4:30 pm, we’ll depart from Banana Beach and return to Chalong Pier, from where you will be transferred back to your accommodation.
