MORNING

Visitors to the sanctuary may get up close and personal with friendly, content elephants while doing so in a secure and environmentally friendly setting.
You will arrive at the sanctuary the morning of your visit, meet your English-speaking tour guide, and gain some background knowledge on elephants.

You will stroll with your guide around the Sanctuary where you will encounter free-roaming elephants and hear about their distinct lives after being given bananas and sugar cane to feed the elephants. As you learn about the elephants’ way of life and activities, you are free to touch, feed, take pictures of, and engage with them as you choose.

You will travel with the elephants to a neighboring mud spa after you have met all of them. As you treat the elephants’ skin with a beneficial cosmetic mud treatment, get dirty with them. After that, you will go alongside the elephants to a local pool where you will join them for a cooling dip. Swim while helping to brush and bathe the elephants as they splash around and play in the water.

It will be time to say goodbye to your new buddy and change into some dry clothing when the elephants have been cleaned, after which you may take a few last pictures with them. Finally, savor a delicious Thai buffet before bidding your new friends a final farewell and leaving EJS.

3 reviews for Half Day Morning-Afternoon Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Phuket

  1. Annette Everingham

We went on the morning tour at camp 3. It was a great day. We got to have lots of hands on time with the elephants, feeding them, in the mud and water with them and learning about the sanctuary and how they care for the elephants and support the community.
Transfers were included, snacks, tea, coffee, amazing buffet lunch and bonus Thai cooking class. Free photos and canvas bag, and there is a reasonably priced souvenir stall there where profits go back to caring for elephants.
The elephants and handlers looked happy there, they have a bunch of toilets and showers to clean up after the mud too.
Take suncream, swimmers and clean clothes for after, towel, bug spray (not many bugs when we went) hat, some money for souvenirs if you want.
Great day with these gentle giants.

Among the top travel adventures. well worth a trip. We participated in a half-day program, which is ideal for families with children who want to see these magnificent animals up close. The reason it is such a wonderful site is because they are unlike other elephant sanctuaries or parks—passionate individuals who are well-managed. Will advise everyone!
